Antique 2lb Castell & Browns Fine Orange marmalade pot - 2 pound marmalade pot

A scarce Victorian/Edwardian white ironstone 2lb marmalade pot, decorated with a wonderful under-glaze swagging black transfer advertising 'Castell & Browns finest orange marmalade - London, two pound'. A very decorative pot with chamfered shoulders, a pronounced moulded rim and impressed on the underside with Maling manufacturers marks.
 
Condition:
This pot is in fair dug condition. It has a stable crack on the rim along with 3 flakes. There is also a small flake and small bruise on the base. The pot is covered in glaze crazing and staining.
