B.S.A. Shooting cup trophy jug
A deep blue glazed earthenware jug, presented as a prize from B.S.A for target shooting in the 1930's. Each side of the jug is decorated with cross sword & lion armorial shield motifs in relief, along with a presentation shield on the front face. The front shield features the three crossed rifles logo of the Birmingham Small Arms company, along with 'B.S.A Shooting Cup' lettering. Believed to be produced by Langley Mill pottery, the underside is stamped with an 'L'.
