Rare small Horner’s clotted cream crock - black transfer
A scarce Victorian cylinder cream pot, made of white ironstone pottery and fully decorated with under-glaze black transfer advertising Horner's Devonshire clotted cream. A very attractive pot which was dug up from a Victorian bottle dump and is covered in lovely glaze crazing.
Condition: This little pot has a large crack in the middle, running from the top to the bottom. Someone has tried to camouflage it a bit with white paint. It’s still displays very well.
