Rare Rimmels Cherry Tooth Paste pot lid and base

A rare Victorian white ironstone pot lid and base, decorated with a polychrome pictorial transfer for Rimmels Cherry Toothpaste. 
A very attractive transfer in sepia with orange and green embellishment, the middle of the lid shows a bunch of cherries and leaves, surrounded by a banner border for the stylised bold typography.

7.9cm lid diameter 
7.4cm pot diameter 
5.2cm tall lidded
Condition:
There is a chip in the top surface of the lid over the ‘Y’ of ‘Cherry’.
There are 4 flea bites on the flange.
There is a chip under the foot on the pot base.
Overall the pot is in fairly clean condition and displays very nicely, a scarce addition to any collection.
