Antique 2lb James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade pot #4

An antique white ironstone 2lb preserve pot, decorated with a bold strike of the iconic black transfer for James Keiller & Sons Dundee marmalade. The underside bears the impressed Maling maker's mark.

Condition:
Dug up from a bottle dump and sympathetically cleaned. There is some rusty surface staining, along with slight loss of the transfer in a vertical line. There are 3 fine hairlines in the rim, along with some surface scrape loss to the glaze inside the pot.
There are also a couple of small bruises on the foot, but these do not overly detract and otherwise the pot does not have any significant chips or cracks.
