A very decorative antique advertising pot lid, which utilises a variety of bold typography and double pinstripe border.
Matched with an antique ironstone base for display, which sits well but does not fit the inner rim very tightly when lidded.

9.7cm lid diameter
8.1cm base body diameter
8.4cm base foot diameter
Condition:
The lid has a filled chip on the rim beneath the word ‘Oxford’. Otherwise there is no damage but some glaze crazing, light staining and wear marks. The base has glaze crazing but no damage.
