A very stylish lid with elaborate gothic typography on a scrolling banner, along with a heraldic shield showing the English rose, Irish clover and Scottish thistle.

Condition:
The lid has a tiny flake on the underside of the flange, along with some light crazing and wear, but is otherwise in superb condition with no damage. The matched base has some chips and bruise cracks on the inner rim and shoulder, along with staining and crazing, but fits quite well for display.
