Antique Dutch stained ironstone sauce boat - Petrus Regout

A stained antique Dutch white ironstone gravy boat, elegantly modelled with a swan neck handle, sweeping pouring lip and a fixed oval liner dish beneath. The underside is marked with the late 19thC blue Sphynx mark of Petrus Regout, Maastricht.

Condition:
Attractive staining, crazing and wear. There is a fine surface hairline in the outside rim near the spout, but it doesn’t go fully through. There is also another fine surface hairline on the inside of the rim, but again this does not go through to the outside. There is a chip/scrape on the underside of the rim of the liner plate, but this does not overly detract when viewed from above.
