Stained Edwardian ironstone butter pot - basket weave

An attractively stained and crazed Edwardian ironstone butter pot, modelled with a relief caned basket weave texture in the surface around the outside edge, along with a flat panel on the face which is embossed and hand painted with stylised ‘Butter’ lettering.

Condition:
As found condition, it is heavily crazed and stained and there is an old chip with a small hairline in the rim above the Butter lettering, otherwise there is no further damage, just age related wear and marks.
