Heavily stained Aesthetic movement ironstone pitcher

A stunning heavily stained antique white ironstone pitcher, decorated on both sides with an unusual Aesthetic movement pictorial black transfer that incorporates overlapping asymmetrical elements.
The base of the transfer shows a blossoming Cherry tree reaching up from the base, which is surmounted by a circular panel of apples on the branch, then a further square panel showing a loch side vignette of castle with mountains behind.
The rim of the pitcher is also decorated with a thick black band of geometric leaves, which continues onto the rope twist moulded handle.
A slightly ambiguous early ironstone pitcher with no makers marks, likely Staffordshire pottery for a Scottish firm dating to around 1870-90. I have not seen another like it!

Condition:
Heavily stained and crazed. There is an old fine star crack under the base, but this does not travel through to the inside. Otherwise the jug is undamaged and in lovely condition.
