Edwardian coat of arms ironstone bottle lid

An Edwardian ironstone pot lid, of the variety used for glass ointment and salt bottles with a ribbed edge and domed top. Decorated with an unusual black transfer, showing a coat of arms topped by a King’s crown which is surrounded by laurel wreaths.

Dimensions:

4.8cm diameter

1.9cm deep

Condition:

There is a stable crack in edge that forks onto top surface, but it still displays nicely and is a scarce example.
