Divided porcelain serving dish - The Marquis tureen , W.H Grindley & Co.
An antique porcelain divided serving dish, modelled in the classically shaped Marquis pattern by W.H Grindley & Co., with their black makers mark on the underside. Complete with the original lid, the scalloped oval shape is complemented by protruding loop handles on each side, along with a moulded foot and scrolling surface details to the lid. An unusual example with the middle of the serving dish divided by a partition.

There is a small firing crack in the rim from manufacture, along with a tiny scrape/fault in the rim.
