An antique German stoneware mustard pot from W. Lingners, Cologne and Düsseldorf.
An early, rare stoneware example with slightly impressed blue lettering, later ones were made in white ironstone with black transfer.

Condition:
There is an old chip on the side of the foot, but with the colour of the pot it isn’t overly noticeable.
An early example with a rough surface, it displays nicely and has pleasing signs of age and wear.
