Rowland’s Hygienic Patent ironstone milk boiler

A stained antique white ironstone ‘Rowland’s Hygienic Patent’ milk boiler. Modelled in the form of a capped chimney with a cylindrical body and flared top, the face is decorated with a green under glaze shield transfer.

Condition:
Along with staining and crazing, there is a hairline in the body, along with a couple of fine hairlines in the top rim. Otherwise it displays very nicely, with pleasing signs of age and use.
