XL banded ironstone pitcher - Coopered Boch La Louviere jug

A very large coopered tapering jug from Boch La Louviere.
Made of heavy white ironstone pottery with an incorporated swan neck handle and wide sweeping spout, the body of the pitcher is moulded to give the impression of a coopered barrel, with vertical plank panels secured by bands.
The underside bears the black armorial stamp of Belgian maker Boch La Louviere, dating this piece between 1887-1910.

Condition:
There is a small hairline in the rim, along with light age related wear and marks. Overall in lovely clean condition.
