Antique ironstone Willow pattern butter dish
An antique white ironstone lidded butter dish, decorated with blue willow pattern transfer. The rim of the lid is relief moulded with a banner containing 'Butter' lettering.
A nicely reserved example of the willow pattern application and not too busy, with lots of white ground remaining and the transfer elements tastefully placed.

Superb condition with some minor firing imperfections and age related wear, but no damage.
