Embossed ironstone pitcher - Petrus Regout Wellington
An elegant antique white ironstone water pitcher, delicately moulded with classical scrolling motifs around the neck and the foot. Produced by Dutch maker Petrus Regout of Maastricht, with their black Sphynx mark on the underside, the pattern (very much in the Wellington manner) also travels to the handle, which utilises scrolls and notched ribs for gripping when pouring.

Condition:
There are some firing imperfections, notably on the left side of the body with a surface crack and firing mark on the shoulder. There are some chips around the foot, along with a star crack in the underside. Other age related crazing, light staining and wear is present, but overall it displays very nicely and looks clean.

Postage to P.O. boxes must be enquired about before purchase as many shippers do not deliver to them.
