Antique glass Meredith & Drew biscuit jar
An Edwardian glass counter top biscuit jar, complete with the original pressed aluminium lid. Produced for Meredith and Drew Ltd., the face of the glass jar is acid etched with their advertising that is then embellished in blue. The metal lid also bears their advertising, along with typography stating their Royal appointment to the H.M. the King. A very usable cookie jar which displays beautifully, with vibrant colour on the acid etching and a clean lid.

Condition:
There is a stable crack in the foot/body of the jar, but this does not impact the structural integrity or use of the jar.
There are also some nibbles around the rim of the glass, but these cannot be seen when lidded.

International buyers (outside of the UK) - When you add an item to your cart you can select a shipping destination and the postage will be calculated. Postage to P.O. boxes must be enquired about before purchase as many shippers do not deliver to them.
