French ironstone Roger & Gallet pot lid and base - Creme D'amandes Ameres
An antique white ironstone pot lid and base for Creme D'amandes Ameres - Pour le Barbe, produced by Roger & Gallet of Paris. A rarely offered monochrome pot from the famous French cosmetician (who are still in operation), who produced the iconic green transfer lidded pot for Creme de Savon.

Condition:
There is a filled chip on the flange of the lid, along with some staining, crazing and wear. There is a hairline running through the middle of the pot base, along with a small bruise crack on the rim, but these are stable and do not overly detract.
